Chapters on fishing, bootlegging, captain’s school, and shipbuilding are intertwined with the local heritage. <\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nYou can find small harbors both in Lahemaa (Hara, Viinistu, Vergi, and V\u00f5su) and in the immediate vicinity of Lahemaa (Salmistu). Shallow-draft vessels can also tie up at the pier in K\u00e4smu. Each harbor welcomes its guests with a unique atmosphere, a meal, and accommodation if desired. <\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n

V\u00f5su is definitely the best resort with the best beach infrastructure and well-maintained sandy beach, and basic amenities can also be found at Suureliiva beach in Vainupea. Also worth discovering are the beaches of Juminda Peninsula (Kolga-Aabla<\/a>) and P\u00e4rispea Peninsula (Loksa<\/a>, Loksa “Raketa”<\/a>, Odakivi<\/a>, P\u00e4hknem\u00e4nniku<\/a>, Joosti<\/a>). However, you can plan a truly unique beach holiday on the sandy beach located on the eastern<\/a> or western shore<\/a> of Mohni Island. <\/span>\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nFreshwater swimmers will find suitably warm swimming water in Lake Kahala, Lohja, K\u00e4smu, or Viitna.
