Transport to, within, or from Lahemaa \u2013 the national park roads are excellently passable on wheels, pedals, or by the good old foot taxi.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Since the Lahemaa National Park area partially covers both L\u00e4\u00e4ne-Viru County and Harju County, the resulting transport organization leans towards the attraction centers of each county and does not take into account the interests of tourists visiting the national park.

One of the key activities of the Lahemaa Tourism Association in the near future is to facilitate organic movement paths within Lahemaa, which have developed based on the interests of both national park visitors and enterprising individuals involved in Lahemaa’s tourism activities.

The first attempts to implement community-based transport in tourism activities will take place already in spring-summer 2023. In the longer term, the priority is to open up more sea routes for Lahemaa visitors and offer pleasure cruises and excursions in sea bays, as well as transfers between various Lahemaa ports. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Public transport to Lahemaa is available daily from Tallinn, Rakvere, and Kadrina, with the most frequent connections to Loksa town.

Well-asphalted Lahemaa roads create favorable conditions for discovering the national park, but be sure to also consider the local nature conservation requirements<\/a>.
